Roof Certification Inspection

A roof certification inspection is a visual evaluation of a roof’s condition and remaining lifespan, performed to determine if it meets insurance requirements in Florida. 

If the roof passes, the inspector “certifies” that:

• The roof is in satisfactory condition at the time of inspection 
• There are no visible signs of active leaks or major defects 
• The roof is expected to remain serviceable for a defined period (per insurer requirements)
